Does this replace 911?

No. Call 911 first, always. StormResQ handles non-emergency hurricane assistance once emergency services have been contacted.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Free for residents and for volunteer responders.

Who sees my information?

Only the verified responder who accepts your request and the coordinating admin. Your profile is never public.

Does it work without signal?

Essential functions are designed for constrained networks and supported satellite connections. A supported device and satellite service are required.

Is a responder guaranteed?

Submitting a request does not guarantee responder availability.
Availability depends on participating organizations, weather, access and responder capacity.
Non-emergency responder availability may be limited during an active hurricane.
